All Natural Stain Fighters - Urine From Carpet
Animal or human urine on the carpet is some of the smelliest stuff ever. Sometimes the over the counter sprays do nothing to remove the stench. Let me teach you today how to get the smell out without using any harsh chemicals.
You will need:
White Vinegar
Baking Powder
Spray Bottle
Directions:
1) Sprinkle a good amount of baking powder over the stain.
2) Add your white vinegar to the spray bottle and spray the area with the baking powder heavily. Sometimes this will cause the urine to smell more but do not be alarmed and give the solution time to work.
3) Repeat this process daily letting the carpet dry out in between treatments until the smell is gone.
Depending on how saturated with urine your carpet is this could take quite a few treatments. I had kittens in a carpeted room once and it took me 4 days of treatments to get the smell out. Do not give up. This treatment works way better than anything you can buy over the counter. I have used this multiple times throughout my life and never once had an issue with removing the urine smell.
